Aims:

The goal of the module is to learn the principles for data communication between PLCnext controller and computer display device (HMI) including to design and create screens for display and control instead of input and output devices. The students will learn how to construct and connect a SCADA system through OPC server (via OPC UA) for displaying useful information such as alarm notifications, trend graphs, etc.

Aims:

The goal of the module is to give theoretical and practical information about technology of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), industrial standard for programming PLCs, hardware configuration and programming. The students also will have the chance to program simple control exercises with the ETAT Smart Lab.

Aims:

The goal of the module is to give theoretical and practical information about principle, architecture, protocols, and implementations of standard industrial communication networks. The students also will have the chance to program simple control exercises with the ETAT Smart Lab.

Aims:

The goal of the module is to give theoretical and practical information about principle of Internet of things, principle of MQTT or others IoT related protocols, introduction to sensor, programming to connect smart equipment on various platforms, learning about PLC, Arduino, or Raspberry Pi etc., programming on data displaying and data transmission. Cloud-based IoT platforms, Proficloud, Google Cloud, and case studies. The students also will have a chance about IoT device programming to connect smart equipments with the ETAT Smart Lab on real, simulation, or process simulation on smart city and smart home or related topics.

Aims:

The goal of this module is to introduce the theoretical and practical Node-RED Programming. The students will gain a broad understanding of how to use Node-RED to program in graphical flows and nodes (Flow-based Programming). They will then have a chance to use the tool for building web applications and data handling of the Internet of Things (IoT), including data transfer and connecting with the ETAT Smart Lab environment.

Aims:

The goal of the module is to give theoretical and practical Python Programming about Variable, Data Type, Expression and Operators, String, List, Tuple, Dictionary and Set, Control Statement, Functions, File I/O and IoT with Python. The students also will have the chance to programming with the ETAT Smart Lab.

Aims:

The goal of the module is to give theoretical and practical information about programming, industrial communications, and industrial robotics. The
students also will have the chance to program simple control exercises with the ETAT Smart Lab (Robotic station)

Aims:

The aim of this module is to present the theoretical and practical Big data analysis and pattern recognition. The students will gain a broad understanding of how analyze data collected from industrial process. They will have a chance to use PLCnext and other devices to extract data from the ETAT Smart Lab environment to deposit in cloud platforms.  Therefore, the students can experience:

  1. concept and practice of data science in Industrial using technology to derive the key answers for decision making,
  2. background of knowledge in methodology and classification rule for data mining,
  3. basic concept of operation in production and service of manufacturing information system,
  4. expert system shall be applied to problem solving, planning and controlling etc.,
  5. determining source, acquisition, integration, transmission of knowledge.
